Where do I find my VIN?

Your VIN number is on the registration certificate issued by the state.

What is a VIN Number?

A Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is a unique code, including a serial number, used by the automotive industry to identify individual motor vehicles, towed vehicles, motorcycles, scooters and mopeds.

Where do I find the loan balance payoff amount?

Your payoff amount is the amount you will actually have to pay to satisfy the terms of your loan and completely pay off your debt. It is different from your current balance. If your loan is with a major lender, you should be able to go to their website and request your payoff amount. The lender's response will be immediate, and you will be able to print it out if you want. You can enter it in your traded-in valuation area.

What is the Good Thru Date?

When the lender supplies the payoff amount the "Good Thru Date" is when that quote expires and a new request must be submitted.

Where do I find the Good Thru Date?

You Can find your payoff through your lender by finding it on your lender's website, or by calling them and requesting by email or other.  It could be a 10-day, 20-day, 30-day payoff good through date.

Where do I find the mileage?

The distance traveled by a vehicle is recorded by an odometer. The device gets its name from two Greek words meaning “path” and “measure. The odometer usually is located on the vehicle’s dashboard.

What happens if I decline your offer?

Consumer-members can chose to accept the trade-in value or decline. The value is a guaranteed price and will be reflected in your purchase order and considered in your overall out-the-door vehicle price. A consumer may come back and toggle add or remove trade-in on the dashboard, once the trade-in value has been established, all the way up to scheduled auction.

Why do I want to answer the trade-in Questions?

BidWizer  will provide an offer to buy your trade. There is no need for you to search websites, complete more forms, or drive from dealer to dealer.

What if I Don't know the answer to questions about my car?

Our Customer Support Can put you in touch with our dealer support side to help you assess any questions, ultimately, all answers must be submitted. Contact our support for any clarification.

Can I counter your offer on my trade-in vehicle?

No, our guaranteed price is final, you may decline the offer, no problem.

What is a key FOB?

A key fob is a small hardware device that can be programmed to control access to your car.

What is a performance modification?

Changes made to a car to optimize performance requirements from those it was originally designed to meet.

How do I know if there are leaks what is it?

A puddle under your car on your garage floor, driveway, or parking spot is likely a sign of a leak.

• Coolant (or antifreeze) usually has a greenish color.

• Gas leaks have a distinct odor.

• New oil has a yellowish-brown color; older oil looks dark brown or black

• Brake fluid is clear to yellowish in color.

• Automatic transmission fluid has a sort of a light red color.

• Power steering fluid is slightly yellowish.

• Windshield wiper fluid is usually blue, but sometimes green or orange..

• Water is clear and on a hot day is normal.

Do I have to have a CarFax or AutoCheck report?

The reports are not necessary, but you can get either and compare the value with the offer from BidWizer. Carfax and AutoCheck both charge for the reports.

How do I get a CarFax or AutoCheck report?

Autcheck is from Experian. Just go to autocheck.com and enter your VIN number into the form. Click the Get Report button and follow the instructions.

What if I do not agree with Terms and Conditions?

We have structured our Terms and Conditions to protect us and our users from legal liability. We understand that some people may not agree with them; however, agreement is a precondition for using our site.

What if I owe more than your trade-in value?

Owing more than a car is worth is called “upside down” or “underwater” on your auto loan. It happens when the market value of your vehicle is less than the amount you owe.  The difference will be reflected on your final PO with BidWizer and your financial institution, and can be folded into your new loan.  Many people are upside down on their vehicles, so don't worry, we will ensure all is included and transparent in your PO for your new vehicle choice.

What if I have no Trade - In or do not want to include my trade-in?

You can have a trade-in valuation and still choose to not include in your vehicle purchase. If you choose not to include it and change your mind after the valuation, you can select add my trade-in back on your consumer dashboard. If you decide to include a trade prior to scheduled auction, you may go to your dashboard and add a trade to your deal. Up until scheduled auction, you can add a trade-in to your deal.

Is my trade-in price guaranteed?

Yes, the price is guaranteed by BidWizer (as long as your answers were accurate)to be the value we presented during the trade-in process.
